(1) The University shall have a separate fund of its own and the following funds shall be kept in that fund:-
(a) Amount received from Government of Nepal,
(b) Amounts received from the concerned State Government,
(c) Funds received from the local level,
(d) Amounts provided as financial assistance by any person or organization,
(e) Funds received in the form of assistance or grants from individuals or organizations related to industry, business,
(f) Funds received in the form of assistance or loans from international associations, organizations, foreign individuals, governments, agencies or financial institutions,
(g) Amount received from fee and any other source.
(2) According to clause (f) of sub-section (1), when the university receives any amount, it has to take the prior approval of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Nepal.
(3) The funds of the University shall be deposited in a commercial bank designated by the Executive Council (4) The operation of funds and accounts of the University shall be as prescribed.
(5) All the expenses of the University shall be met from the fund as per sub-section (1) as approved by the Assembly.
